I have direcTv and I don't miss The Weather Channel at all.

I have had direcTv for many years.

Recently they switched weather providers and dropped The Weather Channel (#362).

The replacement channel is great.
I just finished watching updates on the forthcoming blizzard.

If it was still The Weather Channel it would have had Coast Gaurd Alska with basic weather info periodically scrolling on the bottom of the screen.

I am gonna go grab a dr. Pepper and a sleeve of Oreos.

I am then gonna pen a letters to the director of direcTv and thank him for ridding my television of the poopy The Weather Channrl.

I urge you to encourage your cable provider to drop Tge Weather Channel.
You won't regret it!!!!

Actually, TWC is on the storm full time now since it is already affecting Alabama and Georgia. But it still sucks. Too many graphics and boxes and scrolls all on the screen at once.

I feel like a first grade class could do a better job at preseneting the weather than "The Weather Channel".

They don't have no big name weather people. They have Al Roker but he ain't there full time.

The least they could do is contract with Pat Collins.

I have DirecTV and don't miss the weather channel. The old style weather channel from its inception through the late 90's was the best. Just the fucking weather. It was great background noise. I used to look forward to the tropical updates with that old dude John Hope. That guy was smart as fuck.

Now it's all reality programming, overhyping shit (like naming winter storms), and less weather. Although if Jim Cantore comes to your neighborhood, you are fucked.

It's just another example of a liberal taking over.
