+1. Keep your eyes on Craigslist. I got a ton of free firewood - oak and maple - over the past two years. Storm damage + spring landscaping jobs provide a reliable source every year.

Hello. I recently also encountered this problem and decided to order delivery. Yes, it is quite expensive, but I solved it very quickly and the firewood is good!

drive around residential areas and look for yards with cut down trees

knock on their door

they will usually be happy that you are taking that wood off their property

if you get in the right mind state the firewood will eventually start finding you

you just can't be a lazy biden voting fuckwad who can't chop up their wood

otherwise, pay ridiculous prices for a little bit of wood

A friend of mine owns a tree service. Fairfax libtards pay him THOUSANDS to cut down trees and haul the wood away. He keeps the wood and splits it. A few months later, those same indoor people pay him hundreds more to bring the wood back and stack it on their carports.

The guy works and makes plenty of cash providing a service for people. Hopefully the democrats won't be successful in their efforts to outlaw this type of behavior.

Local 7-11 has free bundles of firewood in front of the store. Free for the taking but might be limited 1 bundle per person. They also have free jugs
of washer fluid.

Destruction of woodlands to provide food for cooking and home heating is a problem in some parts of the world. In other parts the wood being burned are by-products of tree cutting that would be happening anyways. A buddy of mine heats his home with two wood burning stoves. He hasn't bought wood in years. He just asks his neighbors to let him know when they are having trees taken down.

To the global warming guy: burning wood has the same CO2 output as does a decaying tree; no more, no less. The CO2 is in the wood. And, CO2 is not a pollutant, it just makes Al Gore richer.
