About Mark Dycio

I recently was digging around this site when I came across a familiar name, Mark Dycio. As I read the posting I was shocked to hear the negative tone in which he was described. In my youth I met Mark under some shady circumstances... I hired him to represent me. He was the most professional and honest attorney I have ever met, not to mention he had my case thrown out. Over the years I have referred many, and I mean many cases to him and 100% of my referrals would agree with my above statement. Hes pretty much the best lawyer in town. I have since matured and enjoyed working with Mark on my business ventures for which he is equally qualified. So whether you are in trouble or are trying to start a business, for my money... and I have a lot, Mark Dycio is my guy.

"In my youth I met Mark under some shady circumstances"
Suspect statement number 1.

Most people don't go around getting mixed up with the law. If you have repeated tussles, you may be doing something wrong, repeatedly. Most people go their whole lives and never have a single interaction with the legal system. Repeated interactions says something about you in volumes.

He was the most professional and honest attorney I have ever met
Suspect Statement number 2.
Do you meet alot of lawyers, do you. hmmm... more fuel for the fire.

Over the years I have referred many, and I mean many cases to him
Suspect statement number 3.
Many, many case. Jeeezus, how many criminals do you hang out with? Birds of a feather?

So whether you are in trouble or are trying to start a business, for my money... and I have a lot,
Suspect statement number 4.
Yes, take it from me, a rich and criminally-connected indivudual, this lawyer is honest and trustworthy. A ringing endorsement. You sound like "Fat Tony" from the Simpsons.

If you are Fat Tony, please forgive my social transgression, I was making a simple joke, no ill-will was intended.

FYI Jaybee, my offense was a DUI and I work in a business where I meet people with the same offenses, Im quite sure you are related to someone who has been in that bind. So before you pass judgement on my endorsement of this lawyer... why am I wasting the energy in my fingers on you?

Not everybody who needs a lawyer is a criminal. People arrested for reckless driving, selling pot, having obscene video images visible outside their vehicle, etc. still need lawyers.

Because you are busy defending the good name of your friend/business associate. Remember? Help me understand this relationship.

Who knows so many habitual drunk drivers? Lawyer, Bartender, Bar Owner?

I just can't relate because I have never done something that wreckless nor has anyone in my family. If one of my friends did, I would expect them to take their full punishment and not weasel-out by lawyering-up. That, I know.

As far as passing judgement, its still a free country. YOU posted this stuff, I just commented on how lame it sounds. Your clumsy attempt to vow for the good name of your friend, who you say has helped you make a ton of money, is transparent, so spare us the rightous indignation.

Mark D. used to represent the owner of one of the biggest towing company in the area; that's how I remember him. He used to handle a lot of DWI cases in the mid '90s.

I'm an attorney who had a case against him a few years ago. I won my case, so I'm not speaking out of sour grapes.

Suffice to say, I developed a very low opinion of him.

It's not many lawyers that leave that kind of impression on you... and one that lingers for years.

Mr. Dycio just represented me. The best Lawyer I have ever seen! He didn't hold my hand and wasn't particularly nice to me at times, but he kicked the prosecuter's tail. I think if there is a way for you to win legally he will find it. I was looking at mandatory jail time and wanted to plea but I could feel his confidence and we won. Bill Hicks is all through the yellow pages and represented me on a case and asked me at court right before we walked in what my case was about. Totally unprepared his edge is his relationship with the courts. That's it. He will get you a deal maybe... That's all. He didn't get one for me. Like I've read on these threads my complete focus is now staying out of trouble. FUN is not worth the price of prosecution. Good luck all

I worked for Dycio years ago and while there he treated everyone in his office like gold. The truth is always somewhere in the middle. Chances are if you think Mark Dycio is a jerk, then you are probably a jerk.

Years ago a friend of mine at the time, punched out a cop and was subsequently arrested and charged. I recommended Dycio to him. However, my friend is a bit of punk and didn't appreciate Dycio's style, which isn't very hands on. He basically thought he was Dycio's only client and wanted to be coddled and treated like he was the head of a crime syndicate. That attitude didn't agree with Dycio because A)he does have more high profile clients, B) Has more business then he knows what to do with and doesn't have time to babysit adults. That's the reality. He bad mouths Dycio to this day, even though Dycio didn't collect one cent from him despite performing billable hours.

Like I said, if your one of the people on here bad mouthing Mark, you're probably a spoiled premadonna brat who thinks he is God gift to the earth. Mark actually stood up to you and your money. You didn't respect him and therefore he did not respect you back.

Sure the man has his flaws and he chose his profession. The one thing I realized while working there is that everyone is trying to use him and pretending to be his friend. What I could never figure out is if he actually had any true friends. So for those of you don't know him, remember that the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

After hearing great things about Mark Dycio my boyfriend decided to use him. We now reget that decision. When I went to pay him he made several lewd comments to me like asking what is favorite sexual position and even implied we could work something out to get my bill lowered. I was shocked speechless and quickly left. My boyfriend ended up doing some time when I heard of people doing much worse offenses getting off completely by him. Whether due to my rejecting his advances or he doesn't care for his reputation anymore I cant say. Either way I would never use him again nor recommend him to anyone else.

I wasnt surprised to see the negative reports on Mark Dycio when I saw his name on this site. My experience with him backs up much of whats been said especially the lying overcharging part. I don't know if hes a coke fiend or not but that would explain his extreme personality disorder, irritability and rudeness as well as overcharging his clients. When a fellow lawyer chimes in about a Dycio you know there's something seriously wrong with this guy.

Whitestone Sr. is who I would recommend for any serious trouble in Fairfax County. He got this guy I know totally off on more than one occasion where I have no doubt Dycio would have taken his money, cut a half assed deal, and run off to hustle his next rube client.

Dycio recently represented me in a DUI/marijuana possession case and i ended up doing some jailtime. Problem was that since i am a permanent resident, his plea deal which brought the accompanying marijuana charge down to paraphanelia turned out having worse consequences for me than if i had plead to the possession charge.

he is rude, i can attest to that and also expensive. Can't say if i could have gotten a better deal from someone else, but at least other attorneys would bother checking immigration consequences out for their client or at least refer them to an immigration attorney who could do so.

he's careless, rude and expensive. not a great combination for your lawyer

As a "lawful" permanent resident, it's your responsibility to remain aware of the conditions of your immigration status. The lawyer may be a dumbass, but so are you. Enjoy repatriation!

All you guys that want to get off for crimes you committed: Eat Shit! Attorneys get paid to ensure your trial is fair. Good attorneys look for small prosecution mistakes that can be exploited. I suggest you quit fucking up and stay out of court. You won't need an attorney or a shoulder to cry on. Dickhead.

Your first statement is true and accurate.

However, your second statement is unbelievably false.

Whether or not you admit it, if you commit the CRIME of reckless driving, selling pot, having obscene video images visible outside your vehicle, you are in fact a criminal.

See? The crime thing and the criminal thing kinda go together like ........they came from the same word.

Mark recently represented me for 2 reckless speeding tickets. 1 for Vienna and 1 for Fairfax. Both cases thrown out the window, no court fines, and no driving classes. Driving record remains flawless. He has many connections in this area and even for a high price, he is sure to get the job done in your favor. Why go cheap for a lawyer? and risk losing your case? Why not cough up a few more hundred and have a 99.9999999 percent of winning? enough said.

There's nothing that warms the heart like a shyster lawyer that makes sure dangerous and reckless individuals are allowed to roam the streets of our society unfettered by things like "consequences for one's actions".

Cheers to you, Bud. Put that pedal to the medal free from worry or concern about possible punishment. Mark Dycio will always be there to get you off scott-free. Why, I'll bet he's even good at having DUIs dismissed. Maybe next time you can REALLY make him work for his money by driving reckless AND drunk! Try not to kill anyone though. Mark charges more to get murderers off of all charges.

TODAY I had my DUI(first offense) hearing. It was my fourth trial for the same offense and I was begining to doubt Mr. Dycios ability to get my DUI knocked down to a reckless without jail time considering I crashed my car. We ended up going into a cross examination with the arresting officer and the commonwealth prosecutor for just about an hour and BOOM, I was found not guilty and all charges were dropped.
Marks a great attorney but sometimes can forget things because hes so busy and he wont give you much update on your case or the situation until the last minute so just be patient with him, it's worth it!

Dycio has represented myself and my whole crew in the past years. He is on POINT, he knows the law, and is well respected within the judicial system. I am appalled by the numerous ludicrous remarks from these gentleman above. Mark is a HEAVY HITTER and deserves the respect that he has earned. Go get a public defender and witness the atrocity that manifests from engaging in such a dismal transaction. Oh, I am sorry I am talking too fast? Did you guys need to reference a dictionary or thesaraus .....

Allow me to digress ... I mean, let me just "be real"

If you get into trouble, federal OR state in NOVA ... Dycio is the MAN ... this isnt a popularity contest or some customer service survey. He is HARD, he is AGGRESSIVE, and he gets it DONE. If you wanted a sweet nice, soft attorney who will sugarcoat everything and smile and breathe slowly .... then go get someone else and watch how much time you spend behind bars. If you want justice served and your rights protected ... go with the real deal ... DYCIO !!!!!!

Sounds like most of these bad reviews are coming from priests or preachers wives...you guys do know why lawyers are called. Whether you did it or not, these guys' jobs are to either get you out of touble or to lessen the trouble you got yourself into.

Yes, I have a history and luckily, I haven't had a DUI charge...thanks to my lawyer. Maybe if I knew about Dycio and paid this guy the money, I would have walked away free and clear, which would have been great but eh, I got what I got and my lawyer did his best, again, no DUI, but I would have preferred "nothing"

Anyway, good for you if you don't speed, drink or drive, able to pay your child support, and know and follow every rule in VA, but know this, if this is your view on anyone using lawyers, your surrounded by criminals.

Also, I recently hired him over te summer after my friend recommended him and told me his story. DUI dropped to improper driving. Worth the money.

found this thread when researching alexandra mendez the one charged with hit and run in arlington that left one hardworking man critically injured and another hurt. according to va general district court site mark represented ms. mendez in fairfax city and got her 2014 dui reduced. he did the job he paid her to do just wondering how it feels to defend someone who obviously is incapable of learning a thing and horribly injured someone else. Mark represented me a few weeks back and got my DUI & refusal thrown out. I’m glad I didn’t come across this form earlier or I might’ve second guessed. Mark gets it done, straight up. Recommended to me by a colleague and I knew what to expect. I called him, we met, I explained my side, he explained his, gave me his personal number and I called him the night before we were to go to court, no problems. What the hell do you expect a lawyer to do before you physically go to court?

Mark is a good guy, we cracked jokes, and he explained everything I needed to know. He will get your the result you need. He came to court with some younger girl who I suppose is coming up under him. Nonetheless, when I got to court he had already talked to the prosecutor and got both dismissed. Mark is the man!
