This is wonderful idea because it put everything back on schedule.

Please do your research before you make a troll post. The best troll posts are actually funny. Missed days are made up by students coming to school on Presidents Day, teacher work day, etc. This is public knowledge.

You heard wrong. Actually on the FCPS calendar.

It's been decided that these two days will not need to be made up per state law and county regulation. However, the Board voted unanimously last evening that if more than three days are missed then all days will be tacked onto the end of the school year. Better hold off on booking that beach trip kiddos.

That's correct extra days will be added this year if there are more than two snow days. It's didn't happen last year because we didn't get a large snowfalls that cancelled a lot of days.

As long as there are no more snow days or delays the school year will not be extended. But, if there are any more 2 hour delays or full days cancelled then the school year is extended by each day +2.

...there are three built-in days every year, so if they only have three snow days, they wont have to make any up.
