Where can I buy Cheerwine in Fairfax County? To b honest I haven't really looked, I just always get some when I'm at Sheetz in Warrenton.

I worked at Wegmans Fairfax for 5 years and we never had cheerwine. I don't work there anymore so maybe that changed. The reason Dulles has it and Fairfax didn't is because the distributor operated in that area but not ours, apparently. So Wegmans Dulles is probably a better bet.

Yeah ... then you didn't know your store very well because I've been going to that Wegman's since it opened and we've always been able to get Cheerwine there.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one in this area looking for Cheerwine. You can buy single 12 oz. bottles at the World Market in Kingstowne for $1.50. I tried to get the Alexandria Harris Teeter to carry it, but they said there is no distributor in this area. What I want to know is why the hell isn't there a distributor here???

Do any of these places sell Cheerwine using the sugar recipe or have they completely gone over to the corn syrup recipe?

A couple of years back Pepsi came out with a heritage series where they supposedly used sugar instead of corn syrup, and I thought they were better.

Pretty sure Wegmans in Fairfax has it too. However, both Fairfax and Woodbridge are usually out of stock. Especially Diet. You have to be there the day it comes in, during the day. It will be gone instantly.

the Sunoco at Gordon plaza in Woodbridge/occoquan sells it by the can. it's good stuff!

Every now and again I treat myself to bottles of Mexican coke from Costco. It's more expensive because it's imported, but they also use cane sugar instead of corn syrup etc.

Wegmans Fairfax had cases of 12oz bottles for 19.99, pretty sure I've seen singles near the hot foods registers as well. Walmart in Chantilly has it in cans as well..

I think mostly all Wegmans sell it. Buckland Farms in Warrenton sells it too, but in bottles. I know you can find cans at the Wegmans in Gainesville.

How much does Cheerwine pay people like the OP to post fake requests like this in order to drum up interest in their no-where product?

Wegmans in Fairfax had plenty of cold single bottled cheerwines. Right near the buffet and bakery. I bought one since I was curious after seeing this thread. IMO it tastes like any old cherry soda.

I searched for it at Wegman's in Fairfax too for the same reason; this thread. There was none in the soda section, but then I found and endcap with cases of 12oz bottles of it for $19.99. That seemed like a decent price considering it's real sugar and not high fucktose corn syrup, but I didn't want to buy a case of something I might not like. I also thought of the buffet section and found a single there and bought one to try. I enjoyed it. Next time I go back I'll seriously consider buying a case.

Also for fans of Mexican Coke (again real sugar) they were selling cases of that for $17.99, the cheapest I've seen anywhere.

Well Shill Threads Work, if it was a shill thread it was an extremely ineffective one, or an extremely diabolical one. The only people who "bit" on this thread were people who already were familiar with Cheerwine. If you don't already drink the stuff, best case someone who wanders into Wegmans or World Market and stumbles on it may throw a bottle or two in their basket.

OP here, and I'm not paid to advertise etc. if I were, there would be much better ways to advertise than simply asking where I could buy something.
