Police searching for Joaquin Elias Alvarez

Joaquin Elias Alvarez, 36, is wanted on a charge of malicious wounding stemming from an Oct. 9 assault on a 22-year-old woman in Dale City.

At 9:26 p.m., police responded to the 2800 block of Bowes Lane for a domestic dispute. The victim told police she and Alvarez were driving to her house when they got into an argument.

“As the accused was pulling into the area of the victim’s residence, he forcibly pushed her from the vehicle while it was still in motion and then fled the area,” Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.

The victim suffered injuries to her leg.

Police obtained a warrant charging Alvarez but have been unable to find him.
