Hi --

I was wondering if anyone had any fun/weird Richmond Highway history they'd like to share. I'm interested in learning more about some of the strangeness that is the Richmond Highway.

Thanks

Oh Course back in 1974 a FXCO police officer brought his county Ford into the county garage on Jermantown Rd. His beef was that he was on Rt 1 coming down from Groveton racing to a call at 2AM and a Va State Trooper passed him at 105 mph because thats all the FX car would go, Oh well FX Co's Ford 351 vs Mo Par 440 of the VSP and thats what they told him was the "problem".

It's the intestinal tract of Fairfax County. All the turds travel down to the Anus located at the sewage treatment plant across the street from Gunston plaza. Think about it.

That would also imply that it is the primary source of nourishment for the county. Bit far fetched at first, but when you consider you have DC and the Pentagon just up the road it fits.
