I have a damn e-book on hold and I can't login.

How does one hold an E-book?

Public libraries are permitted a finite amount of downloads at the publisher's discretion. So, you get in "line" for the book by putting it on hold. Once the person in front of you on the list is done, then it's your turn to download. You can either return the download early which deletes it from your reading device or on the due date, it's automatically deleted whether you're done or not. Then it's the next person's turn...

The library has found new hi-tech ways to be Inefficient I see.

Not sure which branch you use but the branch at Burke Centre is friendly, efficient, and well maintained.

Ed Long would like to close all of the libraries to make more money available for school sports.
