Does anyone know what happens if you don't pay a GMU parking ticket? I bought a pass for the summer just to use the library, because I'm not a student and I didn't realize it expired and got a ticket the day after... It's $75 dollars. I went to Virginia Tech and I know several people who received parking tickets, but because they weren't students of the University-nothing happened. Does it work the same way?

You can drive around Fairfax high and drunk and they still let you be free. Look at thread about the loser killing the school teacher.

If you are a nice person you should just pay the ticket. Why be a dick. :)

I read a lot of what was written about free parking spots on this site n I was gettin excited but, it seems to be that a lot of these r history? Does anyone kno n e other spots? I kno i've seen free parking signs right outside of mason and not too long ago.

sadly, i know the answer to this because i had that same thought. The answer is that they send it to a collection agency so it screws your credit if you don't pay. just like a parking ticket in Alexandria, Arlington etc. They have your license plate, so if your car is registered somewhere, it's game over.
