Antenna house in Manass Park (off 28)

Has anyone seen the "antenna house" on Route 28 just before hitting Old Town?

The group of houses that it is a part of look like they've been time-warped from the 50's or 60's.

The antennae are huge. Next time I drive by I will snap a pic. Could be HAM radio, or they could be calling Mars.

The antenna in the middle of the house (hard to see in pic) is some crazy quad antenna thing.

I bet they get some great OTA HD.

Thank goodness for HOA's so I don't have to look at that shit every time I drive through my neighborhood.

It's good to have hobbies, but damn, that dude must be listening in on Moscow...

Theres a guy who rides around Fauquier County area a lot in a Range Rover that literally has an antenna farm on top of it. I have no idea what that dude is up to but it looks really top heavy and would seem to be hard to drive.

By "HAM", do you mean radio, or typical PW County housewife?

Long time Amateur (Ham) Radio hobbyist and very active with civilian emergency communication clubs. When Katrina and Sandy disasters unfolded- amateur(ham) operators provided the only first-respond communications to the masses and well ahead of any FEMA or CNN arrival.

That older Range Rover sports a custom EME/Earth-Moon-Earth antenna array. Home brewed and built from scratch.
