Fairfax County Code/Laws

Looking at some of the threads and FU links, thought you all might find this informative.

For those not familiar (and most here seem pretty savvy), Fairfax County has its own county code in addition to state law. Some are just reciprocal (e.g. there is a state code for speeding, and a county code for speeding). Others are completely independent.

There have been a few legal questions and situations presented on this site where these local ordinances might provide some guidance.

www.municode.com has a searchable archive for many jurisdictions in the country, and it is indexed for pretty easy searching. The link directly to Fairfax County code/ordinance is:

Cary - In the event that this information has already been posted, feel free to blast this thread. Otherwise, - how about throwing it in the "Links" section next to the state code?

The Board of "Stupervisers" have just raised the fine for Disabled Parking Violations, from $250 to $500. The judges didn't fine people the $250 so they definitely will not enforce the $500 fine.
