There is a Salisbury Plain Ct in Centreville - named after Salisbury Plain land grant. Have been unable to locate much info about Salisbury Plain.

Was Cub Run known as Salisbury Plain Run in early area history? Seems to me I read something at one time that gave that impression. Found at least one map that actually names Salisbury Plains.

Probably just a case of somebody naming their farm for a location in England, where Stone Henge is located. Watch out for large rocks.

Some early adventurer, reminded perhaps of the England he had left and of the gentle landscape of Wiltshire, had called this stretch the "Salisbury Plain." The name stuck and, in fact, even Cub Run was occasionally referred to as "Salisbury Plain Run" by those seeking land in the vicinity."
