There are still 3-way bulbs at Home Depot. The toggle between 50w-100w-150w if your lamp can handle the power. Or, if you're into gambling, you could just run the risk of fire, as the lamp may indicate.

Yes you are very slow. I was just making a comment referring to the outlawing of 100 watt bulbs at the end of this year. Not sure why you sent the link, but if that is what makes you happy.

Effective January 1, 2013, 75 watt incandescent bulbs will face a similar ban; the 60 watt and 40 watt incandescents will be banned effective January 1, 2014.

Maybe we should all read by candle!

I have two cases of 'em! About 350 total! Three cases of 75w and am stocking 60w now. Mostly GE Reveal with a smaller amount of soft white bulbs. I use CFLs only in outdoor lights that are on all night, and when they burn out I smash them in the dumpster at work. Damn Greenies!

3) OP responds back: GB you are stupid - you should have known what I was thinking even though I never wrote about any concern over the new regulations

4) I post back: no prob you win.

5) you post you thread: I've so little a real life that I'm gonna troll Gordon Blvd on the interwebz LoLz

GordonBlvd is such a gasbag that we ought to stick a pipline in his ass and illuminate the streets and homes with his methane.

It's just part of that tea party myth, that you can no longer buy incandescent bulbs.

The facts are not as fun as just having that gut feeling. The bill signed by Bush in 2007 has been delayed, and it doesn't ban incandescent bulbs, it puts regulations in place to require higher efficiency.

A company (AAMSCO) even built a brand new manufacturing plant in South Carolina to make incandescent bulbs that meet the new requirements, so even when (or if) the 2007 law that Bush signed goes into effect, you'll still be able to buy incandescent bulbs.

So now you make up a myth to support your agenda. You are as crazy as GordonBlvd.

No one here said that you can no longer buy incadescent bulbs, but the facts are not as fun as just having that gut feeling. In fact, if you read the post from 'They will all be gon soon,' he or she said "Effective January 1, 2013, 75 watt incandescent bulbs will face a similar ban; the 60 watt and 40 watt incandescents will be banned effective January 1, 2014." That does not mean that you will no longer be able to buy incadescent bulbs, just not those.

100W incandescent bulbs are no longer produced.
