Broadmoor Motel

I stayed briefly at the Broadmoor Motel in 1964. I would like to re-establish contact with Robert Aljan, son of the family who owned the motel at that time.
Does the family still live in the Centreville area? I would appreciate hearing from you.

Mr. Aljan was killed accidentally when he attempted a stage dive at a Meade Skelton concert at Tippy's Taco House in Fairfax. Meade was so overwrought with grief that he established the Robert Aljan Memorial Fund which helped to create The Lamb Center. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Thank you for your respond re.Robert Aljan. Do you know if any other members of his family still live in the vicinity of Centreville? Do you have any more details i.e. dates, where he is buried?

Elizabeth,

Do you want to introduce Robert to his 48 year old son?

There is only one person in the United States with the last name of "Aljan." Are you sure you have the spelling correct?

When did they shut the Broadmoor down? I know it is Filmdex now.

Elizabeth, what else do you remember about it?

Why would people stay there? It really isn't near anything.

Just curious about old things in and around Fairfax...

The last comment was for the people who put the ignorant comments on this site. Humour is great - sarcastic remarks are not. No need for it.
