Costco has the freshest trees for the money. I think they run 40-50 bucks for a perfect 7 footer. the lots at churches and parking lots rip you off for dry old trees at 80 bucks F__ that.

Gift for wife (new car every Xmas) $125,000;
Gift for mistress $150,000 (Car + Hawaii Trip + Vegas Trip);

Some cheap gift ideas for you all....

Just about everyone likes chocolate- get a box of GOOD chocolates (like ferrero rocher, godiva, etc)- spend at least $15 on a decent box.

Drinkers? A bottle of jack/jim/jose or whatever and a cool glass to drink it out of from walmart or wherever. If you can afford johhnie walker blue or some ketel one or makers mark for your friends, you are a GREAT FRIEND.

Walmart has a lot of cute bodywash/lotion sets, sterling silver jewerly, etc for the ladies you have no idea what to get for them. From $5 and up, just walk the main aisles and look at the displays and ask a fellow lady walking by what she would pick and go from there....

Kids under 10? Toys r us gift card or if you must get a game, classic board games like sorry and trouble and monopoly are always cheap this time of year. If they insist on a video game, look for an xbox/ps3/wii greatest hits title, those usually run about $20-25 brand new at walmart or target unless you WANT to spend $60 on that copy of Lego Lord of the Rings that just came out. Or buy them the books (LOTR, Hunger Games, etc) to read instead!

Of course there is always an Amazon or Target gift card, let them pick what they want!

One more- a good all-ages gift- LEGOS. Who doesn't want to build a castle or a pirate ship or a racetrack??? LOL.
