I arrived at the DMV to register to vote last Tuesday and when I was approaching the entrance, the lady behind the table called out and said, are you here to register to vote? I said yes, and she replied "Oh, you can do that here." Their table was literally a matter of inches from the main entrance. It was as if she and their table was simply an extension of the DMV. There was no identifying information on, below or behind the table to identify the organization that was represented at the table. I honestly thought she and the table was just an extension of the DMV - one that was set up to help with the long line that was forming inside the DMV.

I filled out my registration form along with my SS# and left thinking that I was registered to vote. Well, today at 4pm I got a call from this organization that I never heard of (Virginia New Majority) and they told me, "Oh, we found an error or inaccuracy on your form and cannot forward to the state. Please go to the Fairfax County Government Center and fill out one yourself." I asked her what the error on the form was and even though she they found the error, they didn't know what the error was - does that make sense? They obviously had no intention of forwarding my info on to the county/state. They were just collecting information.

I have a SERIOUS problem with this. I unknowingly gave my name, address and SS# to some political organization under false pretenses. I would NEVER have knowingly given my information to such an organization as I'm not even represented by them. I also told the director of voting registration for Fairfax County about this and he said that NO political organization should ever be set up outside the doors of the DMV posing as the DMV.

I have belonged to the United Paper Workers of America and the
International Association of Aerospace Workers and Machinists
and I do NOT view the SEIU as a legitimate labor union. They
allow and encourage illegal aliens into their membership and
that's just plain wrong and stupid. When Trumpka took over the
AFL-CIO after Sweeney stepped down I had hoped he would throw
them out but he's just fallen into the same trap of redefining
the traditional American model of unions. The SEIU's members
from South and Central America tend to want to recreate the
unions in their home countries which is based on the Che Guevara/Trotskyite
model that are nothing more than voluntary enslavement and a road
to poverty. If they're so damned good, why are so many of them leaving
their home countries to come here?
